Hey Nicole!
Welcome to
planDisney!
I think we’re all missing a little bit of that Disney Magic in our lives and can’t wait to get back to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. The larger theme parks here in California received new guidance that allows them to open safely under new guidelines. With those new guidelines, Disney management announced that they are going to try and have the parks open with limited capacity by late April. There hasn’t been an official reopening date announced but rest assured that they are working hard to get everything ready.
I’m so sorry that you had to cancel your last trip and have been unable to use your tickets. I think it may end up working to your advantage. Even though all of the Disney theme parks around the globe are run independent of each other, we have seen new ticket sales paused at reopening so you may be in some luck when the Anaheim parks reopen. Most expired tickets from last year were extended through December 16, 2021. Take a look to see if
your tickets fall into one of those categories so that you can use them this year. If you're still unsure you can call
Ticket Services and they will be able to let you know. Also, make sure to keep in touch with the
Disney Parks Blog for all the reopening details and how to use your extended tickets.
Well Nicole feel free to check in with us again at a later date once a reopening date has been set.
Remember, always believe in the Magic!
