Hi Gabriel! We're so glad you stopped by to see us again at planDisney! Magic is in the air this month at the Disneyland Resort and you will just love visiting during this time of year. You'll even be able to catch the last few chEARful sights and sounds of the holidays by taking a sail through
"it's a small world" Holiday!
I have some wonderful news for you - Disneyland Resort is open for your upcoming dates this weekend! As part of Disneyland Resort's reopening and
health and safety protocols, in addition to your theme park ticket, you will also need a
theme park reservation to enter the parks. I went ahead and took a little peek at the
theme park reservation calendar for your dates, and there are still reservations available for both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park! Reservations are limited, so I would recommend grabbing those faster than you can say Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!
Making a reservation can be done in just a few taps of your magic wand. Simply log into your My Disneyland account on the website or download the Disneyland Mobile App and navigate to
Theme Park Reservations & Tickets. Here you will see the option to purchase a ticket and make a reservation OR just make a reservation if you already have a ticket in hand.
Once your park tickets and reservations are all set, my number one planning tip is to get friendly with the
Disneyland Mobile App. There are SO many features that will make planning and experiencing your park day not only a pixie-dusted breeze! You can have your very own Genie in your pocket for the day with the new
Disney Genie Service. He will ask you for your interests and must-dos and POOF! An itinerary tailored just for you pops into your app with live updates as you move through your day. Upgrade to Genie + and get access to
Lightning Lanes on select attractions like my family's personal favorites -
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run and Space Mountain! Want to capture all those forever memories? Your wish is Genie's command! Genie + also includes unlimited digital downloads of ALL the Disney PhotoPass photos you capture that day. Disney PhotoPass photographers are sprinkled throughout the parks, so just hop in front of their camera and a memory is made! Ask for a Magic Shot ... you'll thank me later!
A big part of a Disneyland Resort day is the eats and treats! Whether I'm with my family or flying solo, I absolutely love using the
Mobile Order feature for meals and snacks. You can order from anywhere in the park at select quick-service restaurants. I love ordering from the Mint Julep Bar while in line for Pirates of the Caribbean - nothing like having hot Mickey beignets waiting for you after your swashbuckling adventure!
Gabriel, I hope you found this helpful! Don't forget to take a few minutes to soak in all the sights and sounds and let the magic sink in.
Keep wishing on those stars,
Tara
