Hello Michael and welcome to planDisney!
As the current United Kingdom Panelist here at planDisney, I can completely relate to keeping an Ear on all the current government travel advisories due to the Covid-19 global pandemic for visiting both the United States of America as a whole and specifically to my happy place in Orlando at
Walt Disney World Resort.
As we continue to
Return to a World of Magic at Walt Disney World Resort I encourage you to familiarise yourself with the travel advisories and health acknowledgments for Guests wishing to visit Florida by following the
Florida health Covid-19 link contained within this webpage.
At present, Guests who reside outside of the Sunshine State of Florida are more than welcome to visit the most magical place on earth if their resident country or state permits them to travel and if the U.S.A government allows them to gain entry to the U.S.
Meanwhile across the U.S.A in the State of California - I thought it may also be handy for you to know that
Disneyland Resort is also
Returning to a Land of Magic in the near future with a phased reopening of -
- Downtown Disney District is now open to Guests!
- April 29, 2021 – Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
- April 30, 2021 – Disneyland Park & Disney California Adventure Park
- And for your added information, The Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will be welcoming Guests at a later date as yet to be confirmed.
However, in line with current California State guidelines, and for the meantime, Disneyland Resort will only be welcoming California residents into the parks, and in groups of no larger than 3 households. Please also bear in mind that proof of residency may be required to gain entry.
Michael, I really hope I've been able to both reassure you, and provide a little insight for today! If you should have any further specific questions about visiting
Walt Disney World Resort this coming October, then please do pop back to
planDisney where I'll be more than happy to help.
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
