I'm so glad you're planning to kick off the new yEAR at
The Happiest Place on Earth! Both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park will be open in January 2023. Traditionally, January is a month when crowd levels are lower, especially once the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort have ended. The
Daily Events Schedule is only being released six weeks out at this time, so we don't know the theme park hours for January yet. We also don't know the schedule for the
Fireworks at Disneyland Park in January, however, they occur on select nights only and are also dependent on weather conditions.
I'm happy to share that the
Disney 100 Celebration at Disneyland Resort begins on January 27, 2023! This magical celebration will bring new entertainment, including Wondrous Journeys, a nighttime spectacular with fireworks, and World of Color – ONE! Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will also open on this date and it's one of my favorite rides at Walt Disney World. If your dates are flexible, you might consider shifting them slightly to arrive a few days later to enjoy some of the newest offerings!
