Is Disneyland open between Christmas and New Year's December 2023. I heard Disneyland used to close during those dates.

    Hey Cheryl!

    Welcome to planDisney!

Holidays at the Disneyland resort is my favorite time of the year. There’s nothing like taking part in all of the festive fun at Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and the hotels of the Disneyland Resort. Almost every inch of the Disneyland Resort is dressed in merry Magic with lights, Christmas trees, garland and so much more. It is such a special experience to visit during this time.

I’m happy to report that the Disneyland Resort is open between Christmas and New Year’s. In fact, they are open every single day of the year rain or shine. The Disneyland Resort hardly ever closes and has only closed a handful of times since its opening. As you start to plan your trip during this time, I recommend you take a look at Disney‘s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Typically the hotel transforms into a winter wonderland with a grand tree in the lobby, carolers singing your favorite Christmas tunes, and holiday treats and drinks for purchase. My family looks forward to staying here every year.

Well Cheryl, if you have any other questions for us about your trip, please come back and let us know.

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
