We will be at Disneyland for one day on Aug 13th. Will we be able to see the fireworks and Paint the Night Parade, or are they scheduled to close together?

    Hi Cari!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm looking forward so much to your summer trip to the Disneyland Resort. You will be arriving at such a great time. Not only will Pixar Fest be in full swing but the all-new Pixar Pier will be open in Disney California Adventure Park. Make sure you check out all the amazing Pixar Fest treats located around both parks. There are some one-of-a-kind foods like specialty churros, alien macarons, monster-sized doughnuts, and cheeseburger pizza to name just a few of the many new festive foods for this celebration. You will also be one of the first to experience the Incredicoaster in Pixar Pier, but make sure you try all those new foods AFTER riding it!

The Disneyland Resort updates its Daily Events Schedule approximately six weeks in advance, so we still do not know for sure the times of parades and fireworks for your trip quite yet. If the schedule stays the same as it is currently, it will most likely be tight to try to fit in both the Paint the Night Parade and Together Forever - A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular but not impossible. Currently these are scheduled about 40 minutes apart with the Paint the Night Parade happening first in Disney California Adventure Park. If you grab a viewing location close to the park entrance, you can exit faster to make your way over to Disneyland Park as quickly as possible for fireworks. Even if you don't make it into the park you can even see fireworks in the sky from the Esplanade between the two parks.

Keep an eye on the schedule as your date approaches to make your plan. Please return if you have any questions and have a magical day!
