    Hyeyoung from WA Asked

Is Disneyland offering first responder discounts for admission tickets?

    Hello, Hyeyoung!

Welcome, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I’m thrilled to hear you’re thinking of planning a getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth this summer!

The Disneyland Resort has often offered discounted resort hotel and ticket rates to eligible members of the U.S. military, but I’m not aware of a similar offer for first responders. However, reduced price tickets have been available to members of the American Automobile Association (AAA), corporate incentive programs, California credit unions, and other third party travel vendors. These tickets can’t be purchased at the resort, so be sure to look into possible deals of this type before you leave home if any of them may apply to you.

There is a limited-time ticket offer for California residents available now, and Disney Visa Cardmembers receive discounts at many merchandise and restaurant locations around the resort if you happen to have a qualifying credit card. I suggest that you keep an eye on the Special Offers & Discounts page of Disneyland.com for the latest on resort deals, and be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog, which is often one of the first outlets to announce upcoming promotions that can help you experience more magic while spending less!

I hope this helps, Hyeyoung, and that you’re able to plan a pixie-dusted vacation soon! Please write back to planDisney with any other questions you can dream of.

    Wishing you magic,
