Greetings, Chelseah!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney as you prepare for your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth! As fellow Guests just like you, we are happy to share with you information we have learned over years of visiting the Disney Parks.
From the times when I have visited a location where I am not proficient in the predominant language, I have been very grateful for resources to help with language translation to get around and understand my environment better. Fortunately, the Disneyland Resort also has resources available to help Guests who may prefer to enjoy the experience of visiting the theme parks with information in a different language. Besides the
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park guidemaps printed in different languages,
Guest Relations locations offer complimentary language translation devices. Note that device availability may be limited and may require a modest, refundable security deposit.
Tony’s Tip: Many of the ways
Disney Imagineers tell stories are universally understood. Whether it’s through soundtrack music or magical special effects. Some of those special effects can be worn on your wrist with the new
MagicBand+. Guests who purchase and link a MagicBand+ with their theme park admission can enjoy a variety of magical surprises throughout the parks. I won’t spoil any specific surprises, but be sure to keep your MagicBand+ turned on as you exit select attractions!
I hope you have a magical experience at the Disneyland Resort, Chelseah! And please feel free to visit us at planDisney again. If you or someone you know speaks
Spanish,
French, or
Portuguese, we have Panelists who can answer questions in those languages as well!
