Bright Suns, Chon!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by with a question! Your trip to the Disneyland Resort will be here before you know it! Are you ready to live your
Star Wars story?
Utilizing the
Rider Switch Service is one of my top tips! This service allows guests that don’t meet the boarding requirements or don’t wish to experience a particular attraction the ability to wait with a supervising guest (age 14 or older) while the rest of the party enjoys the attraction. Then, the roles are switched to allow the supervising guest to experience the attraction without waiting in the regular queue again. Rider Switch is available at
select attractions in Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.
I’m happy to report that Rider Switch is available at
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance! But, it works a little differently because this attraction utilizes a
virtual queue. First, all members of your party that wish to ride will need to join the virtual queue. Once you're assigned a Boarding Group, wait for your return time to be called. At that time, you may use Rider Switch as you normally would. The riding guests will wait in line while the supervising guest waits with the non-rider. Once the first riders exit the attraction, the roles will be switched. Please feel free to reach out to Cast Members at the attraction with any additional questions you may have about Rider Switch.
I hope this helps you start planning your visit to the
Planet of Batuu!
