Does Disneyland offer merchandise pick up at the front of the park?

Hi Tiffany, welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by with your question. Bringing a piece of the magic home from the Happiest Place on Earth is the perfect way to keep those special memories alive. But when that "piece of magic" is a custom-made BB-Series from Droid Depot, lugging your new friend around the park may not feel so magical.

I checked with a Cast Member who confirmed with me that currently merchandise can no longer be sent to the front of the park for pick-up. However, according to the Disneyland website, Guests may leave their merchandise at select locations for the day, leaving their hands free to pilot the Millenium Falcon or take on a funnel cake.

At Disneyland Park the select locations to check merchandise are Pioneer Mercantile in Frontierland, Port Royal in New Orleans Square, and The Star Trader in Tomorrowland. Over at California Adventure, the locations are Elias & Co. on Buena Vista Street, Sarge’s Surplus Hut in Cars Land, and Avengers Vault in, you guessed it, Avengers Campus.

But the location closest to "the front of the park" to leave merchandise for pick-up later is the Disneyland Resort Stroller Shop in the Esplanade. Although technically just outside of both Disneyland and California Adventure parks, the Stroller Shop might be the most convenient pick-up location for grabbing items on your way out, if you're staying at a non-Disney resort hotel, as it's located right there at the front gates. Don't forget though, when dropping off items to be checked, to confirm hours for pick-up with the Cast Member. You don't want your new droid friend spending the night!

My family's go-to shopping location is World of Disney in Downtown Disney District. We cruise through on a non-park day near the end of our visit, as it has virtually everything all in one place -everyone can find something they like! Then, while we're in the area, we grab our favorite take-home treat at Marceline's Confectionery - Churro Toffee Squares. They stay delicious for weeks and make us feel like we're right back in the magic.

I hope you have the most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, Tiffany! And if any other questions come up, please don't hesitate to reach out - I'm happy to help!

    Your pal,
    McCayla

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
