Does Disneyland offer memory maker photo pass like WDW? We did not purchase lightening lane passes only the 3-day base pass. I can not find on the website where to purchase this.

Hi Cindy, and welcome to planDisney! I love that you plan to take photos together during your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Let's talk about your options.

The Disney PhotoPass Service offers an easy way to capture magical moments during your vacation. Photographers are stationed across each park in front of iconic backdrops and at designated Character spots. Just wait in line at the locations you like, and when it's your turn, a photographer will take some great photos! You can even ask the photographer to include a Magic Shot, which will add a Disney Character or fun surprise to your photo. You can purchase Disney PhotoPass+ One Day, which includes unlimited downloads of photos taken that day. Your best option, however, would be to purchase the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, which includes unlimited PhotoPass downloads!

And Cindy, I can't say with certainty that it will still be available when you visit, but Photo Excursions recently returned to the Disneyland Resort. It's a popular, free photo session lasting between 10 and 15 minutes, during which you can have your photos taken by a PhotoPass photographer in one area of the park. These photos can also be downloaded similar to other PhotoPass photos. The spot to line up has been at the bridge between Frontierland and Main Street, U.S.A., and people typically start lining up 30 minutes early. I would check with a Cast Member at a Guest Relations kiosk in the park once you arrive to see if they have more information.

I love the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, not only for the unlimited PhotoPass downloads, but for the other perks as well! The pass will allow you to make selections throughout the day to access the Lightning Lane entrances at a number of attractions. These entrances lead to shorter lines, helping you fit more into your day. You'll also unlock Disney PhotoPass Lenses – you'll be able to take some fun selfies on the Disneyland mobile app with augmented reality (AR).

Cindy, you should be able to upgrade your theme park tickets to include Lightning Lane Multi Pass using the Disneyland mobile app before your visit. Navigate to your tickets by tapping on the icon at the bottom of the screen with the three horizontal lines (☰), and then selecting "My Tickets & Passes." You should see an option to "Change Ticket." There, you'll be able to upgrade your ticket under "Add-Ons." This can also be done on the Disneyland website. You can also purchase the Lightning Lane Multi Pass on the day of your visit. Right after you scan into the park, pull up the Disneyland mobile app and purchase the Lightning Lane Multi Pass. You can purchase it for each ticket linked to your account (given that everyone has entered the park).

I hope you have the most wonderful time visiting the Disneyland Resort. As you plan your trip, check out the Disney Parks Blog or follow the Disneyland account on Instagram to learn about what you can look forward to.

Cindy, if you have any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
