Does Disneyland offer discounted admission if you arrive after a certain time of day?

Greetings, Marni, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s great to have you hEAR!

Currently, the Disneyland Resort doesn’t offer discounted admission if you arrive after a certain time of day. Theme-park tickets are sold on a daily basis, from one day up to five days. For 1-Day Tickets, pricing varies based on the day selected. Pricing is broken down into three categories: Value, Regular, and Peak. Theme-park tickets include admission for one park per day, unless you choose to upgrade to a Park Hopper Ticket, which allows you to visit both parks on the same day. Ticket value improves with multi-day tickets, and by purchasing a 3, 4, or 5-Day Ticket, you’ll also receive the perk of one Magic Morning early admission!

Depending on when you plan on visiting the Disneyland Resort, you may also want to check out some upcoming Special Events which offer a great value for an afternoon and evening of Disney magic! Coming up in 2020, the Disneyland Resort is hosting several Disneyland After Dark events. Here’s the Disneyland After Dark lineup for 2020:

    Disneyland After Dark: 80s Nite – January 29, 2020
Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite – February 12 and 13, 2020
Disneyland After Dark: PIXAR Nite – March 5, 2020
Disneyland After Dark: Villains Nite – April 30, 2020

80s Nite, Sweethears’ Nite, and Villains Nite are all being held inside Disneyland Park, while PIXAR Nite will be held inside Disney California Adventure Park. The Disneyland Park events will run from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM, with entry starting at 6:00 PM. The Disney California Adventure Park event will run from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with entry starting at 5:00 PM. What I love about these events is that the park closes to other Guests, so attraction wait times are minimal, and you’re able to accomplish so much in a matter of hours! Plus, there are typically rare Characters available for meet-and-greets, which can be fun! I attended Disneyland After Dark: 90s Nite last year, and had the time of my life reliving the 90s with a good friend. I can’t wait for 80s Nite!

I hope this helps, Marni. Please come back with any additional questions you may have… I’m all EARs!
