Hi there, Maya! Thank you for stopping by planDisney with this great California Resident ticket question!
I have some potentially good news, although nothing has been announced just yet.
Disneyland Resort has offered special California Resident ticket deals for the past several years, which is certainly encouraging. Of course, that doesn't guarantee the offer will return, or what the pricing might look like if it does, but I'm right there with you. I love finding a great deal, and these resident offers can be a fantastic way to save on a magical visit!
This year, California residents with a valid government-issued photo ID and an eligible address within ZIP codes 90000 through 96199 were able to purchase and use the special ticket offer through May 21, 2026.
If you're hoping to catch the next offer as soon as it's announced, I have a couple of favorite resources to recommend. The
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page on the Disneyland website is always my first stop when I'm planning. Not only is it where ticket promotions are posted, but it's also where you'll find special rates for Disneyland Resort Hotels.
I'd also keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog. New ticket offers, seasonal announcements, and exciting Disneyland news are often shared there first. Looking at this year's timeline, the California Resident ticket offer was announced in early December 2025, so if Disneyland plans to bring it back, there's a chance we could hear something around that timeframe again.
Maya, I know it's hard to wait when you're excited to start planning, but hopefully a little pixie dust is headed your way soon! In the meantime, keep dreaming about your Disneyland adventure and watching for updates.
May your Disneyland plans bloom into the most magical vacation! If we can help with any part of your planning journey, please stop by and visit us again.
Your pal,
Kimberly
