We will be at Disneyland from 3-12 October. The Entertainment schedule online for that time shows no daytime parades, fireworks or Fantasmic performances except for Mickey’s Halloween Party which we don’t have tickets for. Do we miss out on fireworks etc?

Hi, Fiona! Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question. Your Disneyland Resort vacation is steadily approaching so I'm sure you are getting more and more excited every day!

The entertainment schedule is usually updated about 30 to 45 days in advance, but certain show times don't tend to be available until much closer to the actual dates. So, if you were to check the entertainment schedule in the next few weeks, you will likely see times for parades and fireworks start to fill in for your travel dates. The Pixar Play Parade should have at least one daily performance and the fireworks and Fantasmic! usually switch to a weekends-only schedule during this time of year.

If you would like to secure your viewing spot for Fantasmic! in advance, I highly recommend booking a Fantasmic! Dining Package. There are a few options to choose from including delicious three-course meals at Blue Bayou Restaurant or River Belle Terrace and an On-the-Go option at Hungry Bear Restaurant. After enjoying your meal, you will be given a voucher for a reserved viewing area for the show that is usually up close and center!

I hope this helps. Please stop by again if you have any other questions!
