    Since Disneyland does not release park hours very far in advance, can you tell me what I could expect during the first, second, and third weeks of December based on past years' park hours? What about fireworks and nighttime shows?

    Hi there Robert,

    Schedules are always subject to change, but according to 2012, here's what you can expect the first 3 weeks of December:

    First, Second, and Third Weekends (Friday-Sunday):

    Disneyland: 8am-12am  Fantasmic: 9pm, 10:30pm, Fireworks: 9:30pm
    California Adventure: 8am-11pm  World of Color: 9:00pm, 10:15pm

    First and Second Weekdays (Monday-Wednesday):

    Disneyland: 9am-9pm  Fantasmic: None, Fireworks: 8:45
    California Adventure: 9am-8pm World of Color: 8:15pm

    Thursdays:

    Disneyland: 9am-10pm  Fantasmic: None, Fireworks: 9:30pm
    California Adventure: 9am-8pm  World of Color: 8:15pm

    Third Weekdays (Monday through Thursday):

    Disneyland: 8am-12am  Fantasmic: 9:00pm, 10:30pm Fireworks: 9:30pm
    California Adventure: 8am-10pm  World of Color: 9pm, 10:15pm

    So, as you can see the first two weeks are pretty much the same.  Make sure you visit on the weekends if you want to catch Fantasmic, as it is not shown throughout the week in early December.  After week 2, the schedules are in full swing for the Holiday visitors, so expect extended park hours and multiple showings of nighttime entertainment.
