Hi Kaley!
September is a very happening time at Walt Disney World Resort. The
Haunted Mansion attraction in Magic Kingdom Park does not receive a Nightmare Before Christmas overlay like it's counterpart in California does during this time of year, so your Disney Wish to see the original version has been granted! But allow me to tell you why this is my favorite season. Disney's Theme Parks have a fall decor feel, the weather is more cooperative, and there are two really great events happening around the 'World.
The first the
Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. Here Epcot brings in bonus culinary kitchens to represent countries and cultures that aren't seen at Walt Disney World Resort everyday, such Australia, Greece and Scotland. There are also culinary demonstrations, gastronomy seminars and celebrity chefs! Tapas-sized samples vary between $4 and $10 where drinks can range between $4 and $15. Most demonstrations and seminars require a separate RSVP, so bookmark or like & follow the
Disney Parks Blog across all of their social media platforms to get all of the awesome Food & Wine Festival info as soon as it's released.
The other really awesome fall event is the separately ticketed
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. There's a special parade, your favorite characters are dressed in their halloween costumes, and the most vile villains perform in their very own stage show. And best of all, guest of all ages are encouraged to dress up!
I hope this helped in planning your Disney Days, Kaley!
