Going to DisneyLand next week and want to verify the Park Hopper option. What are the requirements for this ticket?

Hi Kathy! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

When you purchase a Disneyland Resort admission ticket with Park Hopper, you can visit both parks on the same day! We love this option as a family. When completing the transaction, you're asked to select your preferred day and park for each day of your visit. These selections become your theme park reservation. Currently, Guests are required to have both a valid admission ticket and theme park reservation for entry to the parks. The availability of theme park reservations is not guaranteed, and it is possible at popular times for a park or the day to fill up. With Park Hopper, you select the park you'd like to begin your day in, and then later in the day, you can hop over to the other park and back again if you like.

How you take advantage of Park Hopper is mostly up to you. Our family likes to enjoy some Attractions and grab a quick breakfast and lunch from Quick Service dining locations before hopping to the next park. Then we spend the afternoon exploring the next park before sitting down for a Table Service meal, which lets us rest our feet and catch up with each other after a long day of fun. After that, we typically hop back to our starting park for more Attractions and Entertainment. You can do that! Park Hopper gives you a lot of flexibility.

With a Park Hopper ticket, you will scan into your first park, and then you can leave and scan into the other park starting at 11:00 AM Pacific Time. These details are subject to change. You also can book Attractions in both parks if you have Park Hopper and Disney's Genie+ Service, which allows Guests to spend less time waiting in lines and more time focused on the magic of the parks. So, when you're getting ready to hop, you can already have Lightning Lane Entrance return times booked for the other park.

I hope this helps! Have a magical time.
