Hello I will be going to Disneyland this month and we will taking a Chevy Silverado 2500. Will we able to park in the parking structure or will we need to park in the Toy Story lot?

Hiya Iriz, and welcome to planDisney!

How incredibly exciting that your visit to the Disneyland Resort is happening this month! Getting all your plans lined up, right down to where you'll park your trusty chariot, is a fantastic way to ensure a smooth start to your magical day.

You asked a great question about parking your truck at the resort. Let's navigate those parking options! You'll be pleased to know that, in most cases, you should be absolutely fine parking your truck in the main parking areas, the Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals Parking Structures. These structures are designed to accommodate a wide range of Guest vehicles and boast a maximum height clearance of 13 feet 10 inches. Standard trucks typically fall well below this limit, so you should have plenty of room to comfortably drive in and find your spot before heading off to your adventure! I’ll bet even Tow Mater over in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park would give his nod of approval to a fine truck like yours!

Now, Iriz, if you happen to prefer surface parking, or if you think you might appreciate potentially wider parking spaces (though the structure spots handle most standard trucks well!), the Toy Story Parking Area is another wonderful choice. It's located just a bit further south on Harbor Boulevard. From there, you'll simply hop aboard one of the complimentary Disneyland Resort buses for a quick and convenient ride directly to the theme park Main Entrance Esplanade. These buses run continuously throughout the day, whisking guests back and forth, making it super easy!

So, rest assured, Iriz, you have excellent options! Whether you choose the convenience of the Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals structures or the Toy Story Parking Area with its easy shuttle ride, you'll soon be on your way to the fun.

Since you're visiting so soon (how exciting!), here are just a few extra little sprinkles of pixie dust that might make your visit even smoother. First off, just a friendly reminder that you'll need both your valid theme park ticket and a matching park reservation for the park you plan to enter first each day. Also, be sure to download the official Disneyland mobile app before you arrive—it’ll be your best friend! You can check current attraction wait times, browse menus and take advantage of Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering to save time, see the daily entertainment schedule, find your favorite characters, and even manage Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections if you upgrade your ticket with that feature. And, since we’re talking about parking here, I should let you know that the car locator feature in the app is especially helpful for finding your vehicle at the end of a perfect Disney day.

Well, Iriz, I think that covers it! If you have any more questions as you plan, please don’t hesitate to come visit us again here at planDisney. Wishing you safe travels and an absolutely enchanting visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
