Does the Disneyland monorail stop at the Anaheim Garden Walk?

Hi Nissa! Knowing what transportation options are available during your visit is a key part of planning your visit to the Disneyland Resort. We at planDisney are here to help you navigate your journey to the parks!

Unfortunately, the Disneyland Monorail currently only has two stations, the Tomorrowland Station inside Disneyland and the Downtown Disney station. Guests with a valid theme park admission and a park reservation may board a Mark VII Monorail at either station and enjoy a scenic ride above the Disneyland Resort. The round-trip journey takes 13 minutes, with trains arriving approximately every 10 minutes. I would highly recommend taking a ride as the views are fantastic!

Nissa, if you are looking for transportation to the Disneyland Resort from the Anaheim GardenWalk, I recommend using the bus service available at the Toy Story Parking Lot. Once aboard, you’ll travel to Disney Way, via  Clementine Street to Disney Way, and then onto a private Disneyland Resort road that is closed to public traffic. Upon arriving, you’ll disembark at the eastern edge of the Esplanade, near Harbor Blvd. My family and I have used this service while staying at hotels near the GardenWalk and it is a quick and comfortable way to reach the parks. Plus, since you go through security at the Toy Story Parking Lot, you’re ready to start your theme park day as soon as you step off the bus!

Another option to consider, Nissa, is the Anaheim Regional Transit (ART).  RT buses serve hotels near the Disneyland Resort, including those near the Anaheim GardenWalk, as well as the Anaheim Convention Center and other local destinations. While there is a small fee for the service, my fellow panelist, Melissa, has used it and found it very convenient. If you are staying at a Good Neighbor Hotel, check with the front desk to see if ART service is available.

No matter how you choose to travel to the Disneyland Resort, Nissa, I know you’ll have a magical day in the parks. If you have any other transportation or other planning questions, please visit us again at planDisney!

    Enjoy your visit,
