Hi! So we will be going to Disneyland in March with our 3.5 yr old son, we took him at ~18m but I'm not sure if we saw everything. We are going to be dinning at Goofy's diner for at least one meal. Any suggestions? 😊

Hi, Elizabeth! How exciting that you are taking your son back to the Disneyland Resort. We took our daughter at a similar age and she had a blast!

Dining at Goofy's Kitchen is an excellent choice! The buffet offers lots of options to please any palate. Plus, the character interaction is a lot of fun. Don't forget your autograph book! Getting autographs from characters was one of my daughter's favorite things to do at the parks.

If your son is at least 35" tall and might be interested in riding some thrill attractions, Gadget's Go Coaster in Mickey's Toontown is a great way to introduce young ones to the idea of roller coasters. Furthermore, all of Mickey's Toontown is perfect for preschoolers as it has lots of places to explore and is a great area to burn off some energy. Additionally, there are still plenty of attractions at both parks that don't have height restrictions. Some of my daughter's favorites include "it's a small world," Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure.

There are also a few shows that your little one might like. Disney Junior - Live on Stage! is a hit with preschoolers as it features some of their favorite characters from Disney Junior. Frozen - Live at the Hyperion is a Broadway-quality show that appeals to all ages.

I'd love to help you plan even more. Please return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions!
