Hi there, Allysia, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s great to have you hEAR! I’m so excited for your
Disneyland Resort adventures to begin soon.
As the mom of three Mouseketeers ages 8 and under, I’m happy to report that your 2-year-old is definitely welcome to enjoy the
Disney Junior Dance Party! In fact, this show has been one of my children’s favorites since they were babies. On the event page, where you see
“Preschoolers” and
“Kids” listed, this is basically a guide to let Guests know which Guests may enjoy this show or attraction the most. Since this a show and not an attraction, there isn’t a height requirement to worry about. If you’d like to check the height requirements for attractions, I recommend using
this handy filter on the Attractions page. You can change the filter based on your child’s height, to find out which attractions she can ride. The Disney Junior Dance Party! is an interactive, high-energy show that encourages children to get up and have fun!
Though Sofia the First has been part of Disney Junior Dance Party! in the past, it looks like she may have headed back to Enchancia for a while. However, I think your daughter will enjoy watching Vampirina perform – she even teaches the crowd a special dance! This super fun dance party is the perfect way to shake the sillies out while singing along with favorite Disney Junior Characters, including Doc McStuffins, Timon, and even Mickey and Minnie Mouse! They make a special drive to the party from Hot Dog Hills… you won’t want to miss their epic race into Disney Theater!
I hope this helps, Allysia. Wishing you and your family a pixie-dusted getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth!
