Hello, Rena!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited that you're planning to visit Disneyland Resort during the holidays. There is just nothing like watching the snow flutter down on Main Street, U.S.A. with the lights all around you!
Disneyland Park has hosted an after-hours holiday party in the past, but in the last couple of years there have not been any ticketed events during the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. The Disney Parks Blog has started teasing holiday celebrations already with
new outfits for Mickey and Minnie and delicious holiday snacks, but there hasn't been any announcement of an after-hours event. So I don't think you have anything to worry about this year!
One of my favorite holiday celebrations last year was
World of Color - Season of Light. The music was phenomenal and had my whole family dancing along! You'll definitely want to make time to enjoy
"Believe...in Holiday Magic" as well because the forecast for the evening includes some particularly magical snow. As for snacks, my very favorite will always be the Mickey Gingerbread...normally I'm not a big gingerbread fan, but this cookie is incredible! Use the
Disneyland Mobile App to order one for yourself early in the day to make sure you don't miss out. It makes an excellent breakfast food when you combine it with some hot chocolate!
Rena, I'm so sorry you were disappointed on your trip to Walt Disney World last year, but I hope this news helps you get excited about visiting the Disneyland Resort this year! There are some great unique things at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park that you don't want to miss, so if you need more planning tips please
let me know and I'll be right back over to help! Keep moving forward!
