Are Disneyland magic keys that have not been activated (ie. never been used to enter the park) refundable?

    Hiya Colin,

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for submitting your question to us!

Welcome to the Magic Key family! There are many discounts and benefits that come with your Magic Key, so if you haven’t already, take a minute to review what benefits are available for your Magic Key.

I’m sorry to report that according to the Magic Key Terms & Conditions, Magic Keys are nonrefundable and non-transferable, even when they have yet to be activated. This contract was agreed upon at the time of purchase. If you have further questions about your Magic Key, you can speak with a friendly Cast Member on the Magic Key Holders line for more information.

There are so many wonderful celebrations in the parks this year! Disney California Adventure Park will host the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival through the end of April. Star Wars Season of the Force and Pixar Fest will both return to the Disneyland Resort in April. And Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort will begin early on August 23, 2024. With all these celebrations, you’ll want to activate that Magic Key and join in on the fun! Be sure to review the Magic Key Calendar for block-out dates for your Magic Key and book a park reservation today!

If you have other questions about the Disneyland Resort, remember - you’ve got a friend in me!
