Hello, Arti! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
I am so sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but World of Color is currently experiencing a prolonged refurbishment and won’t be available until late this year. But I do have lots of other suggestions for the best viewing options for other nighttime entertainment at the parks! First are the
Fantasmic! Dining Packages in Disneyland Park. You have your choice of a three-course meal at the Blue Bayou Restaurant which will come with the best viewing area for the show, a more casual meal at River Belle Terrace, or an on-the-go option at Hungry Bear Restaurant. The viewing areas for the River Belle Terrace and the Hungry Bear Restaurant options are typically adjacent to the Blue Bayou Restaurant section. Or, if you would like to enjoy the show from a table and chair, upgrade to premium seating at River Belle Terrace.
Over in Disney California Adventure Park, there are
Dining Packages available for Paint the Night and I highly recommend them! The package at Carthay Circle Restaurant is absolutely divine and you will get to watch the parade from a VIP section with director’s chairs for each Guest. Or you can book a lunch or dinner at Wine Country Trattoria and receive a voucher to a reserved viewing area for the parade. The third option, the Sonoma Terrace Paint the Night Reception, provides you with snacks and wine or beer while viewing the parade from your table.
I hope this gives you some ideas on how to spend your evenings at the Disneyland Resort while World of Color is closed for refurbishment. Please return if you have any other questions about your upcoming trip!
