There is nothing quite like seeing the magic of Disneyland through your little one's eyes. The memories of those magical moments are cherished forever, and the fact that you recreate these special moments year after year, as your daughter grows, is so sweet and special. I am honored to help in your quest to find Donald Duck and continue your tradition of creating lifelong magical memories with your daughter.

I think you and your daughter will be happy to hear that Donald's Tales of Adventure Dinner Buffet is coming to Storytellers Cafe at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa starting May 16, 2025! Reservations will be available for booking as early as March 25, 2025. Dinner will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and while the campfire-style barbeque buffet (complete with s'mores bread pudding! Mmm.) sounds fantastic, let's be honest ... we will all be there to see Donald, Daisy, Clarabelle, Goofy or Pluto. Eeek! I'm so excited about this new character dining option, and I hope you are, too, Chihjung!

If you and your daughter would like to find Donald or any other characters around the parks, I recommend checking the Disneyland mobile app once you're in the parks. Just log into the app, tap the location icon at the bottom of the screen, filter in your current location, and then tap "Characters" at the top of the screen. This will show you a list of characters you may run into, their locations and the day's appearance times. You can usually find Donald near CenTOONial Park in Mickey's Toontown or on Main Street in Disneyland Park, as well as near Carthay Circle in California Adventure Park. But always check the app to be sure! Have your camera ready and get ready to pose with the Number One Duck!
