We are going to Disneyland in July. We want to do a character dining breakfast. However we are staying at Good Neighbor hotel. Can we still make dining reservations at one of the disney hotels and how far in advance can we make the reservation?

Hi Guadalupe!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Summer will be here before you know it, so I'm thrilled you are already planning the details of your July vacation to the Disneyland Resort. I am happy to tell you that no matter where you are staying you are welcome to make Character Dining reservations. Currently there are four wonderful options offered for dining with Disney Characters. You can choose between meals at each of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels and also one option inside Disneyland Park itself.

In Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel you can meet Mickey at Surf's Up! Breakfast with Mickey and Friends at Disney's PCH Grill. Over at the Disneyland Hotel, enjoy a breakfast or dinner feast with some of your favorite Characters at Goofy's Kitchen. Finally at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Storytellers Cafe offers the Chip 'n Dale Critter Breakfast where you may meet some rarer Characters as well. For theme park dining, Disneyland Park offers the Minnie & Friends - Breakfast in the Park at Plaza Inn. Keep in mind you will need valid theme park admission on the day of your reservation for this location.

Any of these Character Dining options can be booked up to 60 days in advance by calling (714) 781-3463, reserving on the Disneyland website, or reserving on the Disneyland app under "Dining."
