Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rachel!
It is so exciting to know that in just a few short days you and your family will be strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. and taking in all the sights and sounds of Walt Disney's original park! I am so glad that you have looked into
Rider Switch as this will allow you and your husband to take turns riding some of the bigger thrill attractions with minimal waits.
Once thing you will notice, almost immediately after entering the parks, are all the areas for stroller parking. There are often signs along the sidewalks designating stroller parking areas, or you can simply look for all the strollers parked near attractions throughout the parks. You will leave your stroller in one of these areas each time you want to ride an attraction either as a family or if you are taking advantage of Rider Switch. Additionally, if you are eating at any of the
table service restaurants in the parks, you will typically park your stroller before heading in for your meal.
I recommend taking all your valuables with you when you ride as you can take bags on to all attractions. You might also consider tying a balloon or brightly colored ribbon to your stroller to easily identify it in a crowd. One word of wisdom, though...if you tie a balloon to your stroller, just make sure to leave plenty of slack on the string so the balloon floats
above your head. During one trip, we tied the balloon string too short and the balloon continually bonked us in the face as we pushed the stroller! It made for a pretty entertaining afternoon!
I hope you and your family have a wonderful time at the Happiest Place on Earth! See ya real soon!
