    We are going to Disneyland January 22-26th. We haven't ever seen the Fantasmic show. Is it worth paying for the dinner package to get reserved seating? We have small kids so it's hard to stay in one place and save a spot.

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your trip is right around the corner, and I'm so excited for you! I'd also be delighted to give you some of my thoughts regarding Fantasmic! Dining Packages at the Disneyland Resort.

    Before having a child, it wasn't a big deal for us to hold a spot for parades or nighttime spectaculars, but all that changed once we had our little one. Similar to your situation, it is really challenging to keep my wiggly toddler in one place for very long! We booked a Fantasmic! Dining Package, and it took away the stress of having to hold a spot and wonder if we were all going to be able to see well. Not only did we save time, but the reserved viewing area included in the dining package was phenomenal. If this is your family's first time seeing Fantasmic!, I highly recommend a Dining Package so you can really appreciate the amazing characters, music, and pyrotechnics of this jaw-dropping experience.

    My favorite reason for booking a dining package, though, is the fantastic food! You can choose between a 3-course delicious dinner at Blue Bayou or River Belle Terrace or opt for a Fantasmic! On-the-Go Package at Hungry Bear Restaurant. We chose the Blue Bayou experience as I have always wanted to eat under the "stars" while watching the boats from the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction.
