    We will be at Disneyland Jan 2019 & staying near Katella & Disneyland Dr. Since the new construction is going on for Downtown Disney I would like to know if we will still be able to walk down Disneyland Dr to access Disneyland at that time.

    Welcome, and thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your Disneyland Resort question. I’m happy to hear you’re planning a vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth next year. Pixar Pier just debuted in Disney California Adventure Park, and the newly-reimagined Incredicoaster is a must-do!

    Although the Downtown Disney District is undergoing construction, access to the other shops and restaurants is still available, and Guests will be able to get to the theme parks from the west side of the resort near the existing resort hotels via a temporary entry point. This entrance to the Downtown Disney District and walkway to the theme parks should be available to Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests as well as those staying at an off-site property throughout the area’s transformation process.
