Hello there Esther! It looks like your magical vacation is right around the corner, hooray!
The
Disneyland Hotel is one of our favorite places to stay during our trips, you truly feel the Disney magic and nostalgia as soon as you step into the hotel! You can request a late checkout from the Disneyland Hotel, but it will be handled on a case-by-case basis. I recommend speaking to a Cast Member at the front desk, and I'm sure they'll make best efforts to assist! However, it is definitely not guaranteed that you'll be able to get a late checkout, so I would have a backup plan in place.
My daughter's first visit was when she was 4 months old, and she took frequent naps throughout the theme parks. One of our favorite ways to get her to rest was by taking a nice long walk with her in the stroller.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland Park is a great place for a walk with a little one since it has ambient noise, wider pathways, and it always seems a bit more calm than other areas. We also loved to stroll through
Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure Park, or down Route 66 in
Cars Land to enjoy the ambiance.
I also highly recommend taking advantage of the
Baby Care Centers located in each theme park. The Cast Members are wonderful, and it's the perfect place to feed your baby, change a diaper, or enjoy a more quiet setting while they're napping or resting.
I hope this information is helpful for your upcoming trip, Esther! If you think of any other questions we can help answer for your vacation, don't hesitate to
come back to planDisney. You've got a friend in me!
Have a magical day,
Melissa
