Will disneyland be having merriest nights this year?

Hiya, Jasmine, and thanks for bringing another great question to planDisney!

It’s almost October, which means that the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will be here before we know it! Like you, I’ve been waiting for an announcement about the return of Disney Merriest Nites, too. I attended the event last year, and loved making merry memories with my family. I sure wish I had an update for you, but unfortunately, we still don’t have any confirmation about if or when this event will be returning. I recommend keeping your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog, since this is usually the first place we see any breaking Disney Parks news. You can also check on Disneyland.com, under Special Event Tickets, since this is where any upcoming events will be listed.

Last year, the Disney Parks Blog announced Disney Merriest Nites on September 10, 2021, so I’d guess that if this event is returning, we’ll be hearing some news very soon. Disney Merriest Nites tickets went on sale on September 14, 2021, and the event nights were November 11, November 16, November 30, December 7, and December 9. To help you start planning for the holiday season, here’s what we do know: The Disneyland Resort will begin celebrating the Holidays from November 11, 2022, through January 8, 2023. I can’t wait for the return of classics like A Christmas Fantasy Parade and the “it’s a small world” Holiday Lighting. These special experiences are filled with holiday cheer, and are the perfect way to kick off the season!

I’m crossing my fingers we hEAR some news soon, Jasmine! Please stop by with any additional questions – we love making your Disney dreams come true.

    Wishing you magic,
    Kristin

As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A.
