    We are going to Disneyland and were given a substantial amount in Disney gift cards. Is it possible to add your Disney gift card amount to your mobile app so you can use it for mobile ordering a quick service restaurants?

    Thanks so much for bringing your great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. How fortunate you are to have received Disney Gift Cards. Everyone in my family knows these are my FAVORITE gift as they can be used for almost anything on Disneyland Resort vacations.

    While Disney Gift Cards can be used for payment at virtually all dining and merchandise locations in the parks and Disneyland Resort Hotels, unfortunately you cannot add them to your Disneyland app account at this time. This is a fantastic idea, though! I always recommend adding suggestions like this to surveys you may receive after your vacation. One of the things I love about Disney Gift Cards is the ability to register your cards online at DisneyGiftCard.com. This is a way to add protection to your card balances in case they are lost or stolen.

    Speaking of the Disneyland app, I just love the new mobile order feature that you mentioned. Even though you can't use Disney Gift Cards as payment on the app, I still often choose this method of ordering over paying in person with my gift card since it is SO convenient. You will be able to bypass food lines at so many Quick Service restaurants in both parks allowing you more time to make magical memories.
