I am going to be in Disneyland for a girls' weekend later this month. I've never been on a Disney trip without kids...what dining experience would you recommend for a special lunch or dinner for adults?

    Hello Marigny!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a magical week! I have to admit, I’m kind of a pro at escaping to Disney with my girlfriends. I’ve been to Walt Disney World and Disneyland with just adults a couple of times and it is just as fun without the kids! In fact, I’m headed there next week with 4 of my best friends.

A few of the fun things we’ve done in the past have been: reservations at Napa Rose,
"Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps" Guided Tour, a relaxing morning or afternoon at Mandara Spa at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and watching the Fireworks over Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. We’ve also been known to enjoy cocktails by the pool or hit every “Mountain” ride; Space Mountain (which is now Hyperspace Mountain during Season of the Force), Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

You can also enjoy shopping, dining and more in the Downtown Disney District. There is so much to do at Disneyland Resort for adults it makes for the perfect getaway! I hope this helps and let me know if you need anything else as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
