Hello, we're going to Disneyland with friends at the end of February, can I make a dining reservation for all of us without their ticket info?

    Hi Alyssa!

Welcome to planDisney! Is there anything more fun than a day at Disneyland Park with friends? Part of what I love about the Disneyland Resort is that you can have completely different experiences depending on who is experiencing the magic with you that day. Days with friends revolve around all the mountains - Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, lots of good food and late nights in the parks soaking the atmosphere!

I have wonderful news for you! While your friends will need both a valid theme park ticket and a theme park reservation to enter the parks on the day of your reservation, you won't need that information to make the booking. You are within 60 days of your arrival and reservations are open for the end of February! I recommend looking into availability as soon as you can as these can fill up quickly. If your preferred dining location is booked for your date, continue to check back as guests are always changing plans and a reservation may just open up.

Another new feature that I am looking forward to trying is Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability. Through the Disneyland Mobile App, you can take a peek at day-of availability at select table service restaurants. If there are openings, you'll be able to add your name to the walk-up list and will receive a notification when your table is ready. My fellow panelist Kamini recently tried this and scored a spot at Oga's Cantina! One of the best perks of this new feature is that you can do this from anywhere in the park so you don't miss out on any of the magic!

A few of my favorite table-service restaurants are Blue Bayou Restaurant and Carnation Cafe. If I'm celebrating something special, there is nothing like dining on New Orleans-inspired cuisine while watching your fellow guests sail away on their pirate adventure all under a twinkling nighttime sky. If I'm looking for something a bit more casual, Carnation Cafe is my go-to. Here you'll dine on American comfort food, including some of Walt's favorite dishes! I just love the history wrapped up in this restaurant - where else can you eat Walt's Chili!

Alyssa, I truly hope you find yourself having the happiest day at the Happiest Place on Earth!

    Keep wishing on those stars,
    Tara
