Hello, I am going to Disneyland with a four year old and 2 1/2 month old. Can I wear my baby carrier on the baby friendly rides? If so, can someone list those rides? I am taking my stroller and baby carrier. What baby friendly rides do you recommend?

    Hi Martha!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're so glad that you found us hEAR and brought this great Disneyland Resort planning question to us.

I also have a four-year-old Mouseketeer too, and I just love watching him fall in love with Disney through the various attractions, shows, parades and character meet & greets. I like to turn waiting in lines to a somewhat educational experience by asking my guy to point out various colors and shapes, we talk about the letters and numbers we see, we even count similar objects. And how exciting that you'll be bringing your Disney baby, too! Definitely make use of the Baby Care Centers to change a diaper or have a more relaxed location for a feeding. There are even TVs and small activities to keep your older one entertained!

Yes, you may absolutely bring a teeny-tiny babe on all "Any Height" attractions at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, and even wear them in a carrier. Here is a list of those attractions. There isn't a comprehensive list of attractions that you may baby wear on, though I can't imagine you'll have any issues having such a tiny one turned forward on your chest on most if not all of these. Definitely ask before you get in an attraction queue or before you board your vehicle, but here are some good guidelines:

~ You'll have zero problems with attractions, shows and entertainment options that have open bench seating like Jungle Cruise or "it's a small world", individual theatre seats like Frozen - Live at the Hyperion, walk-through attractions like Sorcerer's Workshop or the Bakery Tour, or any of the character meet & greets.

~ Some attractions have soft lap belts. You also shouldn't have an issue baby wearing with these ride vehicles either, though make sure that your baby bump is not buckled under the belt. These are rides like Dumbo the Flying Elephant and Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind.

~ Some attractions have metal lap bars, and these are the attractions that get iffy. Some lap bars only come so far forward before they stop, and should leave you and your worn baby plenty of room. These are attractions like Peter Pan's Flight and Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters. Others are the kinds of bars that you pull forward until you can't pull forward any more. I'm thinking of The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure, Alice in Wonderland, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and Toy Story Midway Mania! Some of these have lower lap bars that once set fall under your bellybutton, and you should have no problem shifting your baby's bottom and feet over the bar so it rests on you and not your little one. Other attractions, like 'Monster's Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!' do have a taller bar, and for those you will have to ask what's best before or as you board.

As far as what to go on - Everything! And pro tip: definitely utilize Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering as it's a real time and line saver! I hope you and your two ride buddies have the BEST visit to Disneyland Resort, Martha, and We'll See You Real Soon!
