We will be at Disneyland in the first week of August this year. Will we still be able to take the path through critter land to get to Star Wars or have to walk around

Hi Wes! Thanks for stopping by with your question. Your visit is around the corner and the excitement must be out-of-this-world.

I love that you are charting your course to a galaxy far, far away with your sights set on Batuu. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is one of my family's favorite places in Disneyland Park. My kids cannot get enough of Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and seeing real-life droids roaming the galaxy. I am happy to report that the three walkways to Galaxy's Edge are open, including the one through Critter Country. The other two entrances are located near Frontierland and Fantasyland and are perfect for a sneak attack or quick escape!

Wes, I think you should download the Play Disney Parks app and play Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters during your visit to Galaxy's Edge. For this activity, you'll also need to purchase a MagicBand+. Get a bounty assignment from the job board in Galaxy's Edge and watch as your MagicBand+ interacts by vibrating and illuminating, indicating that you are on the right path toward virtual bounty. You can use the Play Disney Parks app's augmented reality thermal viewer to discover who's lurking in the shadows. It's a fun activity for any Star Wars fan!

If you need to refuel, be sure to grab a Cold Brew Black Caf from Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. And, if you need a bigger Star Wars fix, be sure to head to Tomorrowland to ride Star Tours - The Adventures Continue. I love how there is a new adventure every time I ride!

I hope this information helps, Wes. I know the force is strong with you but please let me know if you have any other questions!

May the Force Be With You,
    Melissa
