Welcome to planDisney, Andrea!
Thank you for bringing this question to us. It is my honor to help you with this question.
I can understand why you want to visit the place in the Disneyland Park that Walt Disney himself truly called home. What a perfect way to celebrate
100 years of Disney storytelling than to take
Walt’s Main Street Story Tour filled with unique trivia and facts about the man himself! I know for me, it felt so special and surreal to follow Walt Disney’s footsteps, seeing the resort from his point-of-view, the way he built and envisioned it.
I am so glad to help you navigate the
Disability Access Service (DAS) that the Disneyland Resort has to offer. At
The Happiest Place On Earth, everyone is
welcome!
Andrea, I see that you are planning a visit for next weekend. Since DAS can be pre-registered 2 to 30 days before your trip, this is the perfect time for you to do so. I recommend requesting a
live video chat with a Cast Member to begin the process before you plan to arrive. The Cast Member will also ask you a few questions and sprinkle any further pixie dust on any assistance that your family may need for your magical adventure.
If it is better for you to call Disability Services at (407) 560-2547, or send an email to
disability.services@disneyland.com , those options are also available.
I’m so glad you brought your question about how to visit the resort in new and wondrous ways here to planDisney, Andrea! I look forward to hearing how the tour goes for you and I hope you come
back to visit me here now that you’ve got a friend in me!
