Hi there, Florangela! Your trip to the Disneyland Resort is just around the corner!
Breathe easy! The week of Thanksgiving may be busy, but I am here to provide you with my best tips for navigating the parks efficiently. First, plan on being at the parks as early as you can and take advantage of any
early admission options you have available to you. Crowds are lowest in the mornings and you can get a lot done in the early hours. I suggest getting to the gates about 30 minutes before opening. Ride attractions that do not offer FASTPASS first thing in the mornings.
Next, FASTPASS will definitely be your friend that week and if you want to maximize your time further, consider upgrading to
Disney MaxPass. With Disney MaxPass, you can quickly and easily make FASTPASS selections for your whole family on your mobile device from anywhere in the parks. It's astonishing how much time MaxPass will save you. Whether you are using the traditional FASTPASS system or Disney MaxPass, always keep your eye on when you can obtain your next FASTPASS. To make the most of your time, grab another FASTPASS as soon as you are able throughout the day.
Use the
Disneyland app to look up current attraction wait times and FASTPASS return times being distributed. This will help you determine which attraction to head to next or which FASTPASS to pull. The map view will also help you move around the parks.
Finally, plan to take breaks in the afternoons/early evenings when the crowd levels tend to swell. This will give you the energy to return to the parks after dark for some nighttime entertainment like Fantasmic! or World of Color.
I hope this helps! Have a wonderful visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
