Will Disneyland still have fireworks while the Sleeping Beauty Castle is undergoing refurbishment?

Hiya, Stephanie, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

That’s a great question! I’m happy to report that yes, the Disneyland Resort is still featuring firework displays while Sleeping Beauty Castle is undergoing refurbishment. Currently, fireworks can be seen on select nights during the new, high-energy nightly extravaganza, Mickey’s Mix Magic! The stars of this show are Disney’s legendary duo, Mickey and Minnie Mouse! The whole family will be dazzled by the lights, lasers, kaleidoscope projections, and magical song tracks. Take in this awesome show at Disneyland Park from Main Street, U.S.A., or the façade of “it’s a small world”. Viewing at Rivers of America will also be an option when Fantasmic! returns this spring.

I checked the schedule for your arrival date of February 22, 2019, and Mickey’s Mix Magic with Fireworks is currently slotted for 9:30 PM. Of course, all showtimes are subject to change based on weather and other circumstances. But, that’s good news! Stay tuned to the Entertainment Schedule to discover all the Disney magic you’ll encounter during your visit.

If you have any other questions as you continue planning your dream getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I’m all EARS!

    See ya’ real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
