Greetings, Roxanne, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Disneyland Resort getaway is almost here… time to get excited! To help get you started, here’s the
Entertainment Schedule for your day of arrival.
I am so excited for you to experience the Happiest Place on Earth with your little Mouseketeer! I have so many fond memories of my baby’s first visits to the Disneyland Resort. Their eyes were full of awe and wonder! I’m happy to report that there are tons of
attractions and shows that your 1-year-old will be able to participate in. To help you plan, here’s a great way to discover
which attractions your baby can ride. Simply filter this list of attractions by your baby’s height, and you’ll know exactly which attractions your baby can enjoy with you. For an example, I filtered the list by
“Any Height” and 64 attractions resulted from my search.
When my three Mouseketeers were around your baby’s age, they loved
“it’s a small world,” The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure,
Casey Jr. Circus Train, and
Dumbo the Flying Elephant. They also loved watching shows and parades, such as
Mickey and the Magical Map,
Disney Junior Dance Party!, and
Mickey’s Soundsational Parade. A ride around the
Disneyland Railroad is also a great way to take a break and still take in the sights and sounds of Disneyland Park.
If there are any more
thrilling attractions you're hoping to ride, and you're traveling with another adult or Guest age 14 or older, I recommend checking out
Rider Switch Service, too.
Last but not least, I suggest getting familiar with the
Baby Care Centers, located inside each theme park. At Disneyland Park, you can find one at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., and in Disney California Adventure Park, there’s one on Pacific Wharf. These centers are the perfect spot to change or feed baby, or purchase any baby necessities, such as wipes, diapers, and even sunscreen. They’re also a great place to take a break!
Wishing you a magical, pixie-dusted vacation to the Disneyland Resort this summer!
