Going to Disneyland in a few months and wanted to plan ahead. What’s the best way to land reservations for popular venues such as Oga’s Cantina? I know you can reserve 60 days ahead, but what time should I wake up to ensure I can get that reservation?

Hi Gregory, thanks a bunch for bringing your question to me!

I'm a huge Star Wars fan, so Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland Park is my absolute favorite spot in all of Disneyland Resort. AND Oga's Cantina is for sure my favorite place to get a beverage. As soon as you step inside, you instantly feel like you're in a galaxy far, far away! Where else can you get drinks with the local bounty hunters and smugglers?

Oga's Cantina is one of the more popular dining spots and reservations get booked quickly. Although it isn't confirmed, it seems like 3:00 a.m. is when reservations become available to be booked, 60 days in advance. So set your alarm clock and good luck!

If reservations are not available, I suggest you check on a daily basis. I've had plenty of past experiences when reservations for a particular restaurant would be completely booked, and as I checked daily, a reservation would open up! Especially as you get nearer to your arrival date, check often for available reservations. The cancelation policy for Oga's Cantina is that Guests must cancel at least one day prior to their reservation to avoid a per-person cancelation fee. So to avoid this fee, Guests tend to cancel closer to their reservation date.

In the meantime, I recommend booking other dining reservations you might be interested in! Blue Bayou Restaurant is another extremely popular one, and if you're able to book one there, consider yourself one of the lucky ones!
