Hi, Peggy!
I’m thrilled to hear you’re planning a trip to The Happiest Place on Earth with your daughter. All visits are magical, but it sounds like yours will be extra sweet since you’ll be enjoying one-on-one bonding time with your little princess. I’m glad you already have plans to see World of Color—it’s definitely on my list of must-dos.
I love the whimsical undersea atmosphere and character interactions during “Ariel’s Disney Princess Celebration” at Ariel’s Grotto, and I think you and your daughter would too! It’s a great way to meet a handful of beloved Disney princesses. My favorite part of the meal is the dessert platter, which is almost too pretty to eat!
I bet your daughter would also love Fantasy Faire in Disneyland Park, a whimsical storybook village near Sleeping Beauty Castle where she can meet more Disney princesses and see two shows featuring Belle and Rapunzel! Another of my family’s favorites is “Mickey and the Magical Map,” a great show that debuted at Fantasyland Theatre last spring and combines innovative technology with favorite Disney characters and songs. In addition to our old pal Mickey Mouse, the show currently features friends like Sebastian, Stitch, four Disney princesses, and more familiar faces.
Be sure to make time to explore Cars Land and ride Radiator Springs Racers (if your daughter is tall enough and wants to ride, of course). Stop by Flo’s V8 Café for a great home-style meal in a fun diner setting or Cozy Cone Motel for a tasty snack. My favorite is the flavored popcorn booth, which serves two yummy flavors every day. Your popcorn can even be served in a souvenir Lightning McQueen bucket!
I hope this helps, Peggy. Please write back with any other questions you may have as your pixie-dusted planning continues!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
