Bright suns, Michael!
Your journey to
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in
Disneyland Park is sure to be a highlight of your
Southern California vacation. Regular
theme park tickets, either one-park-per-day tickets or Park Hopper Tickets, are all that is required for a visit to a galaxy far, far away. Simply use your tickets to enter Disneyland Park and you are on your way to Black Spire Outpost. Depending on visitor demand, it is possible that entrance to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge may be metered. In the past, a system of “boarding groups” has been utilized during busy periods to help ensure the best guest experience for everyone. Though the boarding group system hasn’t been used recently. So I would expect access to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to be open to guests visiting Disneyland Park during your Disneyland Resort vacation.
Tony’s Tip: Some experiences on the planet Batuu may be quite popular. I highly recommend making advanced reservations if you wish to visit
Oga’s Cantina or if you would like to build your own lightsaber at
Savi's Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers. It’s also a good idea to make a reservation for building custom astromech droid units at
Droid Depot.
I advise you to keep a watchful eye during your visit to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The
First Order will be watching out for visitors sympathetic to the cause of the
Resistance. I recommend downloading the free
Play Disney Parks prior to your visit. The included
Star Wars: Datapad is a fun way to help live your
Star Wars story. When you need provisions during your visit, Chef "Cookie" Tuggs cooks up great meals at
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. But even a delicious snack from
Kat Saka's Kettle is a great way to experience the unique flavors available at the edge of the galaxy.
‘Til the spire, Michael!
