What is Disneyland like for Easter? Are their easter egg hunts? Or is it more like any other day at Disneyland? I will have two girls age 9 on Easter.

Greetings, Sarah! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

The Disneyland Resort in the spring is glorious! The gardens and flowering trees will be in full bloom and the weather will be absolutely divine. This time of year is also when the parks typically have a really fun event called Eggstravaganza! While supplies last, you can purchase maps for each park and the Downtown Disney District that will help you hunt for large Disney-themed Easter eggs. Once you spot one, you mark its location on the map with a sticker that corresponds to each egg. Then you can turn your completed map in for a prize. It's a lot of fun for the whole family and a favorite activity this time of year.

Additionally, if you are staying at the Disneyland Hotel, they have held traditional Easter egg hunts for children in the past. There are also usually special Easter brunches and meals at restaurants in the Disneyland Resort Hotels. More details and reservation information for those meals should be posted online in the next month or two. Further, check the Disney Parks Blog as your travel dates approach for all the official information on Easter events.

I hope you and your family have a magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth! "Hoppy" planning!
