hello I was going to Disneyland for my dream birthday next week on 06/25/26 and I know pirates of cattiness is currently down, is there any chance in it opening by then? or can I switch my ticket to come the day after?

Hi Maritsa! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

Pirates of the Caribbean in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park is an iconic Attraction. It often tops my family's must-do list, so I understand you not wanting to miss out on the fun. You are correct that the Attraction is currently undergoing refurbishment. I'm not sure how long you intend to hang around, but those scalywags are set to start entertaining Guests again on June 26, 2026. While this could change, that's currently the plan, so if you want to hop in a boat and make a short drop or two during your visit, you might adjust your plans.

You can change your one-day ticket date. One-day admission tickets are priced by tier. You can change your park reservation by modifying your date to any date of the same or lower tier. If your new date is a higher tier, however, you'll need to pay the difference. You should be able to do this in the Disneyland mobile app, but if you need assistance or have any questions, please feel free to call the Tickets phone line. A friendly Cast Member will be happy to help you out anyway they can!

Celebrating a birthday at the parks is an all-time favorite way to mark the occasion in my family. Be sure to get a Complimentary Birthday Button so everyone can wish you happy birthday! You might also want to enjoy a special meal. I recently celebrated at Carthay Circle Restaurant on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park. But there are lots of yummy choices! And be sure to take all the pictures! Disney Photo Pass means your whole group can be in the picture, and you'll find them located in iconic spots throughout the parks.

    Happy birthday!
