Hello. At Disneyland in downtown disney near the world of Disney store. There is a stand where they sell art. It's the one where they make your name with characters. Is there any website where they sell them? Please.

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Sandra! You’re as welcome as can be to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

This is a great question, and I’d love to help you find the answer! So, after researching for a while, I was out of luck until my fellow Disneyland Resort Panelist, Tony S., was able to recall the name of that special art stand in Downtown Disney District. It’s called Kaman’s Art Shoppes, and they also have an online shop under that same name. Here’s a statement from the company on their website:

“Our theme park and zoo locations might be temporarily closed, but you can still support our local artists and brighten your day with a visit to our online store.”

To find the type of art you’re looking for, head to their website, then look for “Letter Brush Art.” The website says that letter brush art is a centuries-old Oriental tradition that transforms words and letters into hand-painted images. This type of art is believed to bring good luck to the recipient, too. I think we could all use an extra dose of pixie dust right now! Once there, you’ll find various categories to choose from, including several that are Disney-inspired, including Princesses, Galaxy, and Heroes. I looked at several samples from each category, and was quite impressed! I think my own little Princess and Padawans may need these for their rooms!

If you’re able to wait two weeks, you should also be able to visit this art stand in person when the Disneyland Resort begins its phased reopening with the opening of Downtown Disney District on July 9, 2020. I recommend checking this “Know Before You Go” page to get an idea of the new health and safety measures in place. Though it may look a little different, I can’t wait to return to the magic of the Happiest Place on Earth!

I hope this information helps, Sandra. Please stop by with any additional questions you may have… we’re all EARs!
