Hey, Tonya! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Seeing all the lights and sparkling décor that adorns nearly every corner of the Disneyland Resort during the Holidays is something everyone should experience at least once (if not annually!). Official dates for the Holidays this year have not been announced, but in the past, the Holidays usually started in early November and lasted through the first week in January. This past holiday season, for example, ended on January 7, 2018. So, if you want the best chance of seeing the holiday décor during your January visit, you might consider moving your trip up just a couple of days.

If your dates aren’t flexible, it’s still possible that you will see a few things as the parks start to transition out of the Holidays. Plus, you might also reap the benefits of visiting after a major celebration as crowds might be lighter during your stay. Definitely keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog in the coming months for an announcement about the official dates of the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort.
