Is Disneyland still doing annual passes?

Well hello there, Jade! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! I’m just a bit excited to hEAR you are thinking about Annual Passes. I have absolutely loved the times that I’ve been able to be an Annual Passholder at Disneyland Resort. My family’s schedules are crazy between work, school, and sports.  The flexibility of being a Passholder just worked out great for us to be able to head to the parks for a day. We loved that it allowed us to have so many fun and exciting days without the stress of wanting to fit everything in because we knew we’d be back again soon.

I’m so happy to share with you that they are indeed back! As you probably know in January 2021, the Annual Passport program was discontinued during the park closure. In July 2021, Disneyland Resort rolled out a new program – the Magic Key pass. There are four Magic Key pass types, one being exclusive to southern California residents. Each type unlocks a specific availability calendar, discounts and more. Please note that like Disneyland Resort tickets, Magic Key passes also require you to reserve your park days in advance and are subject to availability per the Magic Key Access Calendar. I actually just purchased my Magic Key last week and I’m so excited to be part of the Magic Key holder family!

Disneyland Resort also just recently announced that Magic Key holder Celebration Month is happening in February! More details will be arriving soon, but what we know is there will be special menu items, themed merchandise, photo opportunities, and more! I even hear there’s going to be some at-home celebrations featured.

Jade, I hope I helped you with this information and that you too will soon be a part of the Magic Key holder family! Thanks so much for stopping by. See ya real soon!
