Greetings, Sandra, and welcome to planDisney! Early March is a great time to visit the Disneyland Resort – the weather should be great, the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will be in full swing, and the spring break crowds won’t arrive until later in the month. Your trip will be here before you know it, so let’s make sure you’re all set for a magical experience!
I recommend purchasing your theme park tickets as soon as you have travel dates in mind. That's because, when you purchase your tickets directly
from the Disneyland website or mobile app, you'll choose your park reservations as part of the process. Doing this early gives you the best chance of securing reservations for the dates you want. Sometimes, park reservations may become unavailable for specific dates, especially around holidays and special events. That said, I just checked the
Theme Park Reservation Availability tool, and it looks like March is wide open, so you're in great shape!
Sandra, this will make you smile: reservations are flexible and easy to update! After purchasing tickets, if you need to change your park reservation dates, you can easily
modify them on the website or app. You'll just need to decide which available reservation dates you'd like to switch to. As a Magic Key Holder, I’ve had a lot of experience with the reservation system, and as long as I plan ahead, I haven't had trouble getting the dates I want.
Just a heads-up: On March 4 and 6, 2025, Disneyland Park will close early at 8 p.m. for
Disneyland After Dark events. Keep that in mind when choosing your dates. And Sandra, just in case you are interested, there is still a limited number of tickets available on March 4 for
90s Nite. This separately ticketed event starts at 9 p.m. and goes until 1 a.m., with a dance party, special character appearances, themed photo opportunities, and more.
Sandra, I hope this information helps your plans come together as perfectly as a fairytale ending! If you have any other questions, please let us know. We at planDisney are always happy to help.
Sprinkling some pixie dust for you,
Kriss
