Disneyland discount tickets for SoCal residents 2026. When available and when can be used?

Greetings, Cathy, and welcome to planDisney! Get excited, because a California resident special offer is coming soon. I can't think of a better way to kick off 2026 than with three days of fun at the Happiest Place on Earth.

California residents within ZIP codes 90000 and 96199 will be able to save on a 3-Day Park Hopper Ticket. These tickets will be valid for three days between January 1, 2026 and May 21, 2026. Proof of eligible residency will be required, and visits will be subject to reservation availability. Purchase these tickets starting December 3, 2025 for $249. It comes out to as little as $83 per day, which is a 50 percent discount on the cost of a 3-Day Park Hopper ticket!

There is so much fun coming to the Disneyland Resort in early 2026 that you may have a hard time deciding when to go! The holiday season will wrap up in early January, and celebrations for the Lunar New Year will begin. In the spring, the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will return – that's always a great time! And, of course, the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will continue.

What I love about this ticket is the flexibility. You can use it on three consecutive days (subject to reservation availability), or space out visits. Last year, my parents had a similar ticket, and chose to spread out their visits by around a month and a half. That way, they were able to experience a variety of the festivities at the Resort in the winter and spring.

I suggest purchasing your tickets not long after they go on sale (starting December 3, 2025). That way, you'll have the best chance at reserving the exact dates (and starting park) that you want. Plus, they make great holiday gifts for family members. Just make sure that each person using this ticket has a valid government-issued photo ID to prove eligible residency.

Cathy, I'll wish on a star that you'll be able to make the most of this special offer. If you have any other questions, please let us know – we're always happy to help here at planDisney!
